Instagram recently rolled out an update to their mobile app allowing users to post media content taken more than 24 hours ago to their Instagram stories. While Instagram always supported posting previously-taken pictures and videos to your Story, it had one limitation, the media content had to be taken less than 24 hours ago or else it won't be part of the Story gallery. If the photo or video was taken more than 24 hours ago a sticker of the date it was taken will automatically be added.
