Garmin unveils the Instinct 2 smartwatch. A solar-powered smartwatch comes in two sizes - a 45 mm diameter for the base model and a 40mm for the Instinct 2S units for smaller wrists. The Instinct series uses a monochrome transflective memory-in-pixel LCD for legibility and battery efficiency. With the Garmin Connect IQ store, apps and widgets are able to be downloaded to customize to exercise and work needs adapting from other series features like the new solar panel and heart rate sensor. The Garmin Instinct 2 and Instinct 2S starts at a price of USD 349.99. The wearable is designed for outdoor sports, combining an AI-powered action camera, open-ear audio, and communication features into a single device. For cyclists, the AI Ranger includes an AI-powered action camera, real-time communication features, and open-ear audio. Users also have to turn on Google Workspace smart features.
