Garmin unveils the Instinct 2 smartwatch. A solar-powered smartwatch comes in two sizes - a 45 mm diameter for the base model and a 40mm for the Instinct 2S units for smaller wrists. The Instinct series uses a monochrome transflective memory-in-pixel LCD for legibility and battery efficiency. With the Garmin Connect IQ store, apps and widgets are able to be downloaded to customize to exercise and work needs adapting from other series features like the new solar panel and heart rate sensor. The Garmin Instinct 2 and Instinct 2S starts at a price of USD 349.99. The device also features a 6.61-inch HD+ TFT display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,010 nits of peak brightness. Other features include an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated AI Key, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Osmo Pocket 4P features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 20mm f/2.0 wide-angle camera with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a 60mm f/1.8 telephoto camera with a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor.
