YouTube has announced via Twitter that the picture-in-picture (PiP) mode for YouTube TV is now rolling out to YouTube TV on iOS running iOS 15 or newer. Apple has released iOS 12.5.8 to keep key services like iMessage, FaceTime, and device activation working on older Apple devices that can no longer upgrade to newer versions of iOS. iOS 12.5.8 and iPadOS 12.5.8 are available for a limited list of devices, including the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and the sixth-generation iPod touch. For users who still use these older devices, installing iOS 12.5.8 ensures that basic communication features remain functional for years to come.
