#iOS 19 update

Apple is reportedly working on a new iOS gaming app, combining elements of the App Store and Game Center in a single hub. In addition to showcasing games from both the App Store and Apple Arcade, the app will highlight gaming events and updates, potentially enhancing communication with FaceTime and iMessage integration. It’s currently unknown if it will debut with an iOS 18 update or be introduced in iOS 19. Apple has released iOS 12.5.8 to keep key services like iMessage, FaceTime, and device activation working on older Apple devices that can no longer upgrade to newer versions of iOS. The update extends an important security certificate that these services rely on. Apple confirmed the change in its release notes, saying the update ensures continued access to these services on supported older devices. iOS 12.5.8 and iPadOS 12.5.8 are available for a limited list of devices, including the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and the sixth-generation iPod touch. These models are no longer eligible for modern iOS updates, making this release especially important for users who still rely on them.
