Apple is reportedly preparing for the awaited launch of its iPhone 15 series of smartphones. They also reported that sources tell them that employees of mobile carriers have been informed to not take days off on September 13 due to a major smartphone announcement, which is highly speculated to be Apple's iPhone event. 9To5Mac also suggests that pre-orders would begin on September 15 with the official launch on September 22. The biggest rumored change thus far for the iPhone 15 line is the transition to using USB-C from Lightning. Other rumors suggested that the non-Pro iPhone 15 and 15 plus get the Dynamic Island feature found on the iPhone 14 Pro models as of now. There have also been rumors of slimmer bezels and a price increase of USD 100 on the iPhone 15 Pro and USD 200 on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, however none of these have been confirmed. After over two weeks of using the iPhone 3G, I can fairly say I have become familiar with this mobile device to share some insights on how it fares as a primary mobile phone.
