LG Display has unveiled its second iteration of a stretchable display capable of expanding up to a staggering 50% without breaking. Furthermore, the integration of micro-LEDs ensures the display to withstand over 10,000 stretch cycles, extreme temperatures, and even physical shocks, according to LG. LG’s concepts, including a stretchable automotive panel and a wearable display for firefighters, offer a glimpse into the future of flexible screens. The tablet features a 12.1-inch 3K “paper-like” display made to improve handwriting and stylus use.
