Announced back in August, LG is finally releasing the LG G Watch R in the Philippines this December. This 2nd-generation smartwatch from LG succeeds the original G Watch (read our review here) which has a square face. The G Watch R has a rounded face with OLED display, thus the R suffix in the name. We're hoping the LG G Watch R will be sold at the same price point. LG Electronics has officially announced in Seoul, South Korea the G Watch R, the company's new wearable that features a 1.3-inch full circle display and powered by Android Wear. The LG G Watch R comes in black and features a durable stainless steel frame and an interchangeable 22mm calf skin leather strap. Moreover, we feel like these companies are looking at something more as each one are confirming that they're working on something else other than a smartphone or a tablet -- specifically a smartwatch. Samsung has already confirmed that they are working on a smartwatch, while companies such as LG, Apple and Google were reported to be working on one too.
