A new report claims that OnePlus and realme have been merged under a broader internal restructuring by OPPO.

According to a report from Leifeng.com,
OPPO has created a new ‘sub-series business unit’ that combines the marketing and service operations of both OnePlus and realme. This unit is led by Li Bingzhong with Xu Qi overseeing marketing and after-sales systems.
On the product side, a ‘sub-series product center’ has also been established to manage both China and global operations. This division is headed by Li Jie and reports to Pete Lau. Wang Wei serves as deputy head of the unit.
The report also states that realme’s R&D teams have been reintegrated into OPPO. Departments such as imaging and hardware are now folded into existing OPPO teams.
Prior to this, realme teams had already started relocating to OPPO’s headquarters in China.
This restructuring follows earlier rumors about OnePlus scaling back in markets like the US and Europe. Despite the reports, product launches from both brands continue.
No official announcement has been released by either brand just yet.
