This evening, LG Philippines formally launched the Optimus G in the country and units will be available in stores by next week. The Optimus G is also the first LTE supported* handset to be released by LG in the Philippines. The Optimus G succeeds the Nexus 4 as the official flagship smartphone of LG Mobile. The LG Optimus G will retail for Php26,900 when it becomes available in stores starting next week. I was lucky enough that LG Philippines gave me an Optimus G yesterday so we're able to unbox it earlier today and take it out for a short spin. The Optimus G is one of LG's newest superphone and is slated to be launched in the Philippines next month. The Optimus G looks pretty solid; the design is simple yet elegant and the glass treatment reminded us of the iPhone 4 and the Optimus 4X HD combined.
