Announced back in July, the LG X Power is now available in stores and comes with a suggested retail price of Php8,490. The X Power is a mid-entry level smartphone with a large 4,100mAh battery. LG Electronics has launched in its home country three new smartphones and member of the new X series - the LG X5 with large display, LG X Power with a large battery, and LG X Skin with a slim profile. The Sony PlayStation 5, arguably in the latter stages of its product life cycle, has had its price bumped up to PHP 40K. Sony's official announcement determines these price increases were a "necessary step to ensure [the continued delivery] of innovative, high-quality gaming experiences to players worldwide." There is a general consensus that this hike is caused by the rapidly increasing cost of memory, as it becomes a high-value asset for AI data centers. The price of the beloved PlayStation 5 has followed a V-curve. As time passed and supply eased, retail prices dropped to as low as PHP 23,990 for the digital and PHP 27,990 for the disc versions. Shockingly, prices have rebounded back to record highs once again.
