Yesterday, Apple refreshed their 11.6" MAcbook Air that's powered with the new Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, a huge leap from last year's Core 2 Duo processor. That's barely 8 months ago when it was speculated that the reason for using the Core 2 Duo instead of the Core i3/i5 back then was that the chips would not fit with the slim form factor of the Macbook Air (it's possible the Sandy Bridge chips are much thinner now). On top of that, they've also reduced the starting price of the Macbook Air. And we thought it wasn't possible to get more powerful processors inside these skinny little babies but Apple has just announced that the 11-inch and 13-inch Macbook Air will get a Core i5 CPU with an option to bring it to Core i7. The new CHUWI CoreBook Air, a lightweight Copilot+ PC powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake platform, has been launched by CHUWI. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor with integrated Intel Arc 130V graphics, paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB SSD. As a Copilot+ PC, the CoreBook Air supports AI-powered Windows 11 features such as Click to Do, Cocreator, and Live Captions.
