Apple has just announced that they are offering a repair service for 13-inch MacBook Pro units that are affected by a display backlight issue. A number of 13-inch MacBook Pro models have been affected by backlight issues. Units eligible for the service program are as follows: MacBook Pro (13-­inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) MacBook Pro (13-­inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports) Apple has stated that apart from the mentioned models, no other MacBook Pro models are part of the program. To avail of the free service, users can visit an Apple Authorized Service Center and staff will have the MacBook examined and to verify if it's eligible for the repair program. After using a PC for the last 3 years (Aspire S7, Asus Transformer Chi T300, Alienware 13, Dell XPS 13), I wanted to try out the Macbook Pro with Touch Bar as my main computer. This time though, the Macbook Pro (late 2016) will be my main machine, both for the usual productivity work and the regular video editing for our YouTube channel. So, after a couple of weeks of exclusively working on the Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, I'd like to share the things that I really liked about it and the ones I did not like: Great Build Quality.
