Starting today, Maya Protect will discontinue their insurance subscription services until further notice. Users who have availed of Personal Protect and Mobile Protect are advised to instead look forward to new insurance products. Maya noted that these are coming soon, and users with ongoing policies for these services are advised with the following: Maya Protect will be removed from the app because of service discontinuation beginning on April 15. Additionally, customers holding active Personal Protect and Mobile Protect policies can still enjoy the benefits provided by Maya. Maya gives thanks to the people that have supported these features, and again, look forward to new insurance products and services coming in the near future. The SM Store and PLDT Inc.’s PayMaya Philippines has announced a partnership that would allow customers to purchase goods using the PayMaya mobile application's QR code scanning platform. With PayMaya QR, customers of the establishment can now just simply open their PayMaya, scan a QR code, and pay for their purchase.
