MediaTek has announced its latest budget chipsets, the Helio G35 and G25. Both the Helio G35 and G25 chips are aimed at gamers, powered by Arm Cortex-A53 CPUs operating at 2.3GHz and 2.0GHz paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPUs running at 680MHz and 650MHz. Both are built on MediaTek's 12nm FinFET production process, along with the same features of higher-end G-series chips such as: HyperEngine Game Technology – allows for smoother gaming by actively managing the CPU and GPU, and smart switch to LTE + WiFi when the system detects a slow internet connection.
