The MediaTek Kompanio 540 is now official. As per MediaTek, Chromebooks powered by the Kompanio 540 offer up to 35% longer battery life compared to other options. MediaTek has unveiled its new Kompanio Ultra 910 chipset, aimed at boosting the performance of Chromebooks. MediaTek says that Chromebooks powered by the Kompanio Ultra will be available “in the coming months.” It is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor and supports up to 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB eMMC storage.
