Samsung partners with SEGA to launch Sonic the Hedgehog-themed PRO Plus microSD cards. Built with gamers in mind, the microSDs offer fast read/write speeds, robust durability, and wide device compatibility. Samsung is now in mass production of 1TB microSD cards, and is sampling 256GB SD Express microSD cards. Samsung is manufacturing the 1TB UHS-1 microSD card with eight stacking layers of its 8-gen V-NAND technology. As for the SD Express microSD cards, they have a reading speed of up to 800MB/s. The 1TB microSD card is projected for launch in the third quarter of 2024. As for the 256FB SD Express microSD card, it will be available for purchase later this year.
