Microsoft has announced to completely remove the Adobe Flash component from Windows through the KB4577586 "Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player" starting June 2021. In July 2017, Microsoft, along with Adobe and their industry technology partners, announced that Adobe Flash Player would no longer be supported after December 2020. Microsoft has announced that the support for Windows 7 will come to an end on January 14, 2020, after its first release in 2009.
