The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced that jaywalkers with unsettled citation tickets will soon find themselves on the alarm list of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The new penalty comes after the Metro Manila Council (MMC) has agreed to deputize the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in enforcing local anti-jaywalking ordinances of the 17 local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila.
