#MMDA traffic policy

Despite the firm rejection, the DOTr said it remains open to collaborating with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), technology providers, and civil society to explore data-driven traffic solutions elsewhere in Metro Manila. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has teamed up with SM Supermalls to help commuters stay informed about traffic conditions across Metro Manila. The new project brings live CCTV traffic feeds from MMDA cameras to selected SM malls, starting with SM Megamall. During the launch on Wednesday, MMDA Chair Romando “Don” Artes said the screens show real-time traffic along nearby roads, including key parts of EDSA. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has added GCash as a new way for drivers to pay traffic fines, MMDA Chairman Atty. Artes said the changes are part of the MMDA’s effort to improve transparency and provide easier access to traffic information for drivers across Metro Manila.
