The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has teamed up with SM Supermalls to help commuters stay informed about traffic conditions across Metro Manila. The new project brings live CCTV traffic feeds from MMDA cameras to selected SM malls, starting with SM Megamall.

During the launch on Wednesday, MMDA Chair Romando “Don” Artes said the screens show real-time traffic along nearby roads, including key parts of EDSA. This allows shoppers and commuters to check road conditions before heading out.
The partnership aims to make traffic updates more accessible by using the high foot traffic in malls. SM Supermalls said the project supports simple and smart solutions that help Filipinos plan safer and smoother trips. More SM malls are expected to join soon.
