Earlier today, Verizon has unveiled two 5-inch smartphones under the Droid lineup, the Ultra and the Maxx. In keeping with its legacy of bringing some of the largest batteries on a smartphone, Motorola has equipped its current flagship handset (Droid Maxx) with a 3,500mAh power pack that is tested to last for 2 days on average use. Unfortunately, the Droid Ultra’s battery, which is only rated at 2,130mAh, isn’t anywhere near that of the Maxx’s. Preorders for the Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx starts on 30th of this month and will be retailed for $199 and $299 respectively, under contract of course.
