Meta is reportedly planning to let users create, showcase, and sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as it seeks to join companies trying to capitalize on the digital collectible trend. According to a report from Financial Times (FT), teams at Facebook and Instagram are "readying" a feature that will allow users to display their NFTs on their profiles, as well as working on a prototype to help users create the collectible tokens. The report also says that Meta has also discussed launching a marketplace for users to buy and sell NFTs.
