This will reduce the travel time from NLEX to Port Area in Manila to 10 minutes. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has recently opened the C3-R10 section of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Harbor Link Segment 10. The 2.6km-long section on the elevated expressway connects the Port Area in Manila to NLEX, shortening the journey from Manila to Quezon City within 15 to 20 minutes. It has three exit off-ramps: Segment 10-C3 Ramp to Caloocan City; Dagat-Dagatan Ramp to Malabon City; and C3-R10 Ramp to Navotas City. Following the announcement, cashless and contactless transactions such as Beep Cards, and Mastercard credit and debit cards that offer contactless payments including Smart Telecommunications' PayMaya Mastercard, are now accepted at North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) tolls.
