HMD Global has officially announced the second iteration of the Nokia 8110, now modernized with fun colors and 4G connectivity. Despite being billed as a Nokia feature phone, the 8110 4G has Google apps such as the Assistant and Maps, email functions, and options for more apps to access via a dedicated application store. Nokia calls this new Google-laden basic phone operating system called the Smart Feature OS based on KaiOS, and The Nokia 8110 4G will be available in two colors: black and banana yellow. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention. The Nokia E51 is a business/productivity phone so expect good connectivity options -- WiFi and 3.5G or HSDPA (3.6MBps). For a retail price of Php12,300, this unit is a great buy -- probably the cheapest full-featured business phone that went out of Nokia's doors. New owners of the Nokia E51 can't go wrong with this phone. Well, that's until the qwerty Nokia E71 goes on sale at the end of the month.
