Nokia has filed a number of complaints in Germany and the US against Apple for infringing a slew of Nokia-owned patents. According to the case filed, Apple agreed to license some of Nokia patents in 2011, but they declined offers since then. As for Nokia, it seems like they are massively preparing for a comeback. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention.
