Nokia has just announced the Lumia 625, an affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone with a 4.7-inch screen and LTE connectivity. The Nokia Lumia 625 packs a 4.7-inch WVGA (480 x 800) 199ppi display with Sunlight Readability Enhancement, 5 megapixel AF camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing, and 8GB of internal storage with support for up to 64GB via microSD card. In addition to the LTE connectivity, it is powered by a Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 2,000mAh battery, and Windows Phone 8 OS including the Nokia Lumia Amber update. The Nokia Lumia 625 will be available in a range of colors including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black. A recent leak indicates that HMD Global is working on an Android phone that brings back the design of the beloved Nokia Lumia Yup! Possibly one of their strategies to elevate their brand presence is the revival of the Nokia Lumia line.
