HMD Global promised to release major OS updates to its Nokia phone as fast as possible and in line with that, they have just made a new Nougat update to the Chinese variant of Nokia 6. Just as before it gets a global release in Q2 2017, the Nokia 6 gets the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update ahead of other flagship handsets of other manufacturers. Although, since the Nokia 6 is exclusively available in China, for now, this still won't put Google Play Store and other services. If you own a Nokia 6, probably directly from China or parallel importers in the country, you'd need at 616MB of free space for the 369MB update download. The update is also included for the Nokia USB driver and preloaded applications. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention. The Nokia E51 is a business/productivity phone so expect good connectivity options -- WiFi and 3.5G or HSDPA (3.6MBps). For a retail price of Php12,300, this unit is a great buy -- probably the cheapest full-featured business phone that went out of Nokia's doors.
