Nokia just outed a new iteration of their candy-bar X3 handset and it now comes with a touch screen on top of the alphanumeric keypad (a rare combination). The original Nokia X3 was announced back in September 2009, along with the Nokia X6. This newer Nokia X3 (X3-02) is dubbed the Touch & Type which combines the usual alpha-numeric keypad and a touchscreen display. Nokia puts the suggested price of the Nokia X3-02 at 125 euros (roughly Php7,300) before taxes and/or subsidies. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention. The Nokia E51 is a business/productivity phone so expect good connectivity options -- WiFi and 3.5G or HSDPA (3.6MBps). For a retail price of Php12,300, this unit is a great buy -- probably the cheapest full-featured business phone that went out of Nokia's doors.
