Nvidia Corporation is reportedly in looking to acquire British chip designer ARM Ltd. Graphics chip manufacturer Nvidia has been interested in competing in the Central Processing Market in both the consumer and data centers, and Arm may be their ticket in. Should they continue with the acquisition, they may be competing with both Intel and Advanced Micro Devices, which are both customers of Arm as well. While either company has released no additional details, Rosenblatt Securities analyst Hans Mosesmann estimates that Nvidia may pay around USD 55 billion for Arm.
