NVIDIA's new Game Ready Driver might just be your solution to getting better graphical fidelity and high framerates. Enter DLDSR or Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution. DLDSR renders a game at a higher, more detailed resolution before using AI to intelligently scale that back down to the resolution of your monitor. DLSS renders at a lower resolution then scales it up to gain performance while maintaining image quality, while DLDSR goes from high to low to gain image quality. Using DLDSR 2.5x though, I don’t need to make this sacrifice, the picture quality I get is much better and smoother in these games while having the same FPS. Using the DLDSR 2.5x I get the same FPS that I used to get but with greater graphical fidelity. Fortnite is the same story as well, at 1440P for example, I get around 95FPS, but at 1080P with DLDSR 2.5x I get the same graphical quality but with 167 FPS. Even older games such as The Witcher 3, or Prey, can benefit from DLDSR.
