NVIDIA today officially announced their latest Tegra 4 processor. This quad-core processor improces on the very popular Tegra 3 smartphone CPU from last year. The Tegra 4 retain the 4 CPU cores (uses Cortex A15 chips) but improved on the graphics a lot. From the Tegra 3's 12 GPU cores, Tegra 4 now has 72 GeForce GPU cores. That's 6 times more than the one on Tegra 3. Tegra 4 will also support 4K ultra high-definition video (4 times 1080p for recording and playback). There's also support for built-in LTE modem, something that is lacking from the old Tegra 3.
