If the old one still works, then keep it for as long as you like. However, there will come a time when you'll have to dispose of the old one for the new. The memory is not enough Most smartphones released at least a couple of years ago sport limited RAM and storage like 2GB + 16GB/32GB. Fixing it costs more I have heard stories from friends on how they were able to keep their old devices running by simply having it repaired. Over at the BlackBerry World Conference in the US, Research in Motion announced two new handsets -- the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930, including a spanking new BlackBerry 7 OS. And RIM has finally decided it's time to make their Blackberrys slimmer -- the Bold 9900/9930 are now just 10.5mm thin (previous models come at 14mm thick). I reckon we will most probably be seeing the BB Bold Touch 9900 released in the Philippines (and could greatly benefit from the HSPA+ roll-out of Globe). On another note, while both smartphones use AMOLED, the 15T uses LTPS compared to the LTPO on the 17T.
