OnePlus has announced that the OnePlus 3 and 3T will receive the Android P update. In a forum post, Oneplus announced that they are focusing their development resources on the Android P project for the OnePlus 3 and 3T instead of upgrading it to Android 8.1 as the company believes that the latest OS can offer more features and improvements to the users. The OnePlus 3 and 3T were announced in 2016 and initially came with Android 6 Marshmallow. OnePlus said that the Android P update will be available on the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5/T and OnePlus 3/3T, in this order.
