Smart Communications has received the Best Mobile Video Experience award from Ookla, recognizing the company’s performance in mobile video streaming. According to Ookla’s analysis, Smart achieved a Video Score of 78.60, placing it ahead of other mobile operators in the Philippines. The recognition comes alongside Smart’s earlier citation for Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines, also awarded by Ookla. has won several awards at the Ookla Speedtest Awards, including “Fastest Fixed Network,” “Best Fixed Network,” and “Best Fixed Video Experience” in the Philippines. TNT has been cited for delivering smoother gaming and more stable streaming after its network, powered by Smart, was recognized for having the Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines by network analytics firm Ookla for the first half of 2025. After PLDT’s recent award for the fastest ISP at Ookla Speedtest Award for Q1-Q2 for 2022, PLDT is now having another milestone for receiving Smart’s Ookla award as the Fastest and Best Mobile Network in the Country. It is a rare distinction for Smart to get this award for there are only 20 mobile operators worldwide that earn the title of Best Mobile Network and the first and only mobile operator in the Philippines to get it since the Ookla Speedtest started last 2017.
