As part of our campaign in our 10th anniversary, we would like to announce the YugaTech Choice Awards. This annual end-of-year award highlights the best of the best as judged by the entire editorial team as well as our readers.

This year, we have identified 25 Categories with two winners per category — the YugaTech Editors’ Choice and the YugaTech Readers’ Choice. The first winner is nominated, deliberated and judged by everyone in the editorial team (all 7 of us). The second winner is solely voted by our readers.

During the nomination process, all editors submit their personal choices for each category and we tally the nominations for the top 5. This top 5 finalists will be the basis for the voting by the readers. Voting will start today until January 3, 2016. We will announce the winners on January 11.

As part of our 10th year anniversary celebration, we will also be giving away tons of prizes to our readers who joined in the Choice Awards. We will have speakers, earphones, smartphones, laptops, routers and many more prizes to give away (full list of prizes listed at the bottom).

If I were a gadget, I would be a smartphone, specifically a Zenfone Selfie, because I believe that pictures are worth a thousand words and that I am confidently beautiful with a heart ;)

If I were a gadget, I’d be the Asus Zenfone 2 because it is a practical device. It has all the features that most of the expensive top-of-the-line smartphones without hurting your budget.

I would love to be a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 because I know that I can stand out the rest of the crowd in every aspect. You can throw me any task you want me to do without any fear.

If you are a gadget, what type of device would you be and why?

i’d be a nice micro 4/3 mirrorless camera (like the Fujiflim X-Pro1), easy enough to carry and bring around to spend and capture all the memories with. :)
