According to latest data from Ookla, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 lineup showed faster 5G speeds than Apple’s iPhone 16 series — in the Philippines at least. Speedtest Intelligence revealed that the Galaxy S24 family achieved 158.47 Mbps of median 5G download speeds and got the lowest median 5G multi-server latency at 32 ms. has won several awards at the Ookla Speedtest Awards, including “Fastest Fixed Network,” “Best Fixed Network,” and “Best Fixed Video Experience” in the Philippines. Microsoft has quietly introduced a new internet speed test feature in Windows 11, giving users a quicker way to check their connection directly from the taskbar.   The feature, which began appearing in recent updates for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2, adds a “Perform speed test” option in the network menu. Once selected, the option opens a browser-based speed test powered by Ookla, showing key metrics such as ping, download speed, and upload speed.
