Google is set to open its first operations center in the Philippines soon, according to reports. A Google spokesperson stated that Google has traditionally used third-party suppliers and relied on the operations team to provide customer support for the consumers. “This worked well when we were smaller [but] like other companies, we now see the need to build out our customer support center,” Google Spokesperson told BusinessWorld. The Google operations center is set to open on or before Q2 of 2019. At present, Kalibrr is focused on getting users call center jobs in Metro Manila but will soon cater to companies in other industries, and expand to other provinces in the Philippines and abroad.
