Pop-up cameras are usually placed at the top of the device, but in the case of OPPO's new patent, it's going to be placed on the side. There's no word yet if OPPO will actually produce a phone with this camera design in the near future. Canon may be preparing to enter the pocket gimbal camera segment, based on a newly published patent that outlines a compact, stabilized handheld device aimed at content creators. The patent describes a compact camera with an integrated three-axis gimbal, a fixed lens, and a built-in screen housed within a handheld grip. Canon has reportedly filed multiple patents related to gimbal cameras over the past few years, with designs gradually shifting from experimental concepts to more practical, consumer-ready ideas.
