Shortly after the Philippine release of the OPPO A5 Pro 5G (and its 4G variant), the brand has also introduced the OPPO A5. That is something the OPPO A5 Pro 5G didn’t have as it featured an HD+ IPS LCD screen despite its ‘Pro’ moniker. It is likely that the OPPO A5 could go by a different name once it releases outside of China, but that remains to be seen. Going back to the spec sheet, the OPPO A5 has dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 6500mAh battery with 45W charging, and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. We've got over a hundred submissions from our recent poll on mobile 3G services. Quite a number of users have already been using their new uMobile SIMs too (7.19%) while fledgling Sun Cellular 3G is still down there. Surprisingly, very few people are using PLDT WeRoam -- a service which has practically been supplanted by SmartBro Mobile 3G. uMobile on the other hand, though an autonomous telco is still considered a Smart/PLDT property and their free ad-supported 3G services will certainly bump up their total numbers.
