LG is back with another 3D-capable smartphone, the Optimus 3D Max. This is not the first time LG came out with a phone sporting a stereoscopic camera (they had the Optimus 3D last year) but looks like this second incarnation wants to take another shot at 3D images again. The LG Optimus 3D Max comes with a 4.3-inch 3D LCD display that's protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2, a dual-core TI OMAP processor (1.2GHz Cortex-A9), PowerVR SGX540 and 1GB of RAM. That's basically the same chip they used on the Optimus 3D and they just doubled the RAM. LG Mobile has announced two new 3D smartphones a couple of days ahead of the Mobile World Congress -- the LG Optimus 3D Cube and the LG Optimus 3D Max, the successor to the first Optimus 3D from last year. The new Optimus 3D Cube and 3D Max are much thinner now at 9.6mm compared to the first one which is a bit thicker at 11.9mm.
