Panasonic finally revealed their latest Lumix camera that will join the Lumix GH5 as the company's flagship. While the GH5 is still considered Panasonic's contender in video recording the newly announce Lumix G9 will be their contender in the photo department. The Lumix G9, like the GH5, is equipped with a 20.3MP Micro Four Thirds sensor that is without an optical low-pass filter. The Lumix G9 is priced at $1699 (~Php 87,111.13) and will be available in January 2018. The latest mirrorless camera has arrived: the Panasonic LUMIX S1RII, which is the newest addition to the famed LUMIX S Series of devices. On top of what's been mentioned so far, it's the first LUMIX camera to achieve 8K video recording at 14 stops of dynamic range - and Open Gate has also been enhanced to shoot at 6.4K, 8.1K, and others through software additions later on. The Panasonic LUMIX S1RII has also been upgraded on the software side of things. It's compatible with Capture One, making it the first LUMIX camera to work seamlessly with the studio-level editing software.
