Panasonic wants a share of the buzz at the Mobile World Congress with the announcement of their new flagship phone, the Eluga Power. The Eluga Power will sit comfortably in the hands of those capable of gripping an adult's head and is a good alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note or the LG Optimus Vu. What separates the Eluga Power from the rest of the big-screen smartphones out there is its IP57 certification, which means it is capable of resisting dust and water. Globe Telecom is now offering volume-based mobile internet surfing plans with their Globe PowerSurf promo -- starting with 50MB for Php99, valid for 30 days. The service auto-renews after the expiration date so you need to text PowerSurf Off to 8888 if you want to un-subscribe. Under the hood, the device is powered by a UNISOC T7250 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
