Counterpoint Research Global PC tracker has shown a decline in global PC shipments in Q1 2022. 78.7 million units were moved in the first quarter of 2022. Lenovo maintained its lead in the global PC market in Q1 2022 with a 23.1% share, which was down a little compared to 2021. It also warned that the current lockdowns and virus countermeasures may also disrupt movement of products for the 2nd quarter of 2022. The current inflation and crisis in Europe may also be a contributing factor that can affect PC shipments for Q2, 2022. The announcement came alongside the reveal of the game's new logo, cover art, and a fresh screenshot on June 18, signaling the start of Rockstar's marketing campaign.
