Ookla has just released its latest Speedtest Global Index for December 2021, showing that the Philippines’ average mobile internet download speed is at 19.20 Mbps, while the average fixed broadband download speed is at 50.26 Mbps based on median performance. While our national broadband average is still nowhere near that of Singapore or Hong Kong, broadband and mobile internet speeds have significantly improved in the last few years. Median fixed-broadband speeds now hover around the mid to high-100Mbps.
