With the Google Pixel 8a heralded by many as the "budget smartphone king," there has always been a lot of anticipation for its successor. As such, the upcoming Google Pixel 9a has been the subject of many leaks leading up to its rumored March release date. Before we get to the price, the Google Pixel 9a is slated to be a redesigned version of the 8a, in the same way that the 9 series is to the 8. The Google Pixel 9a is slated to come with the next-generation Tensor 4 chipset, alongside other upgrades. This would make the price identical with the previous-generation Pixel 8a, which helps the device in its bid to win more bang-for-the-buck awards. However, with  the price of the vanilla Google Pixel 9 starting to fall within the same bracket, as well as competitors like the Nothing Phone 3a series looming in the horizon, we can't help but wonder what's next. Camera duties are handled by a single 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear alongside an 8-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout.
