Google’s March Pixel Drop has brought several new, exclusive features for its Pixel devices. For now, though, this feature alongside the new ones is exclusive to Pixel devices. The feature, first introduced with the Pixel 10 lineup last year, now allows Pixel 9 series users to send and receive files directly to and from Apple devices using AirDrop. Supported Pixel devices enable users to discover nearby AirDrop-compatible Apple devices when the feature is activated. The feature will become available to additional Android devices beyond Pixel models later this year, with more information expected to be revealed at Google I/O 2026 in May. Google has announced the new Chromebook Pixel, a Chrome OS-powered notebook that sports a 13-inch display, Intel Core i5 or i7 CPUs, up to 64GB of flash storage, and two USB Type-C ports.
