During this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced that starting October 1, the PlayStation 4 will receive a handsome mark down in price. From its previous local SRP of Php25k, a 500GB model of the Sony PlayStation 4 will be sold for Php18,900 starting next month. Users from neighboring SEA countries will also benefit from Sony’s new price scheme for the PlayStation. The price, however, of these console bundle were not stated at the time of writing. According to Sony, the special offer will cover purchases of the PlayStation VR with PlayStation Camera, DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controllers (selected colors) and selected PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 software from August 23 to September 5. Offers are available at all PlayStations Authorized Dealers and Sony Stores while stocks last. Note that this is open to buyers within the Philippines only, and cannot be combined with other PlayStation promos. Sony introduces a new PlayStation device, the PS5 VR controller.
