#PlayStation Remote Play

Sony Honda Mobility has announced that the Afeela will be the first car in the world to support PlayStation Remote Play, allowing passengers to stream PlayStation games directly inside the vehicle. The feature lets users remotely play games from their PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 consoles using the car’s built-in screen. Games are streamed through PS Remote Play and controlled using the Afeela In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system. According to Sony Honda Mobility, passengers can use PS Remote Play even while the car is moving. Sony said it is working on bringing AI-powered frame generation to PlayStation in the future to improve game performance without needing stronger hardware. In an interview, PlayStation lead system architect Mark Cerny shared that Sony is working closely with AMD on this feature. The work is part of a project called Project Amethyst, a graphics technology built for PlayStation systems. Sony already has a feature called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, which uses similar ideas.
