#PlayStation update

Sony said it is working on bringing AI-powered frame generation to PlayStation in the future to improve game performance without needing stronger hardware. In an interview, PlayStation lead system architect Mark Cerny shared that Sony is working closely with AMD on this feature. The work is part of a project called Project Amethyst, a graphics technology built for PlayStation systems. Sony already has a feature called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, which uses similar ideas. Sony has announced the launch dates and pricing for its upcoming gaming-focused hardware, including the new FlexStrike fight stick and a PlayStation-branded gaming monitor. https://youtu.be/iWu1CgJDPw0 Initially, the controller will only support the PS5, though Sony said PC support will arrive in a future update after launch.
