Xiaomi Philippines has announced deals for its Redmi and POCO smartphones on Lazada and Shopee's Mid-Year Sale. In this case, we have the realme 8 Pro and the POCO X3 Pro, the former being priced at PHP 16,990 while the latter priced at PHP 15,990—a flat PHP 1,000 difference. When comparing both displays, the realme 8 Pro catches attention for its super AMOLED display—projecting deep, immersive blacks, especially in AMOLED-oriented wallpapers. Oppositely, the POCO X3 Pro has a slightly larger display, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sample rate of 240Hz, making the consumption of content or the user's gaming experience buttery smooth. In terms of build, the POCO X3 Pro gains additional protective points for its Corning Gorilla Glass 6. CPU and GPU Powering the realme 8 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G paired with an Adreno 618 GPU; on the flip side, we have the POCO X3 Pro with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset and Adreno 640 GPU. Thus, the POCO X3 Pro has a better GPU compared to its competition. In other performances, sourcing from Kimovil's AnTuTu scores the realme 8 Pro at 327,458, while the POCO X3 Pro sits at 561,303 which entails that the latter performs better and can better handle intensive applications and games.
